Kuzey’in Cenneti Sinop’ta Eğlenceli Bilim, Sanat, Spor Okulu
The project was approved by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) between July 2-14, 2012 and 50 secondary school students who just passed the 5th grade participated in it. The program continued in consecutive weeks as two groups of 25 students. Within the scope of the project, various scientific activities, experiments, art and sports activities took place.

On 26 August-6 September 2013, 50 secondary school students who graduated from 5th grade participated in the project funded by TÜBİTAK. The project was completed with 2 different groups of 25 students each for 5 days with various science, art and sport activities.
Çocuk Üniversitesi’nde Bilim Eğlencelidir II
Our project, which lasted for 5 weeks on 2-23 May 2015, was awarded by the Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit. Thirty 6th grade students from different secondary schools participated in our project.
FeTeMM Eğitim Yaklaşımı
The activity held on 21-29 August 2015 was funded by TÜBİTAK. Our project has been carried out by the cooperation of 24 science teachers working in public schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in various cities and academicians who have studies on the subject in various universities of our country. STEM, which is an innovative educational approach, was delivered to the students in different provinces through the participants as the final goal of the project. Throughout the project, teachers took an active role in various activities aimed at integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Ortaokul Öğrencileri için STEM Eğitimi
The STEM Project, funded by the Scientific Research Projects Unit in Sinop University, was carried out on 19-26 June 2018. The aim of the project is to improve the awareness of secondary school students about science, technology, engineering and mathematics and to increase their creative thinking skills. The project was attended by 6, 7 and 8 middle school students from different secondary schools in the city of Sinop. Students are expected to gain experience in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, design, and coding. During the project, STEM activities such as Traffic Lights Design for Visually Impaired, Water Container Design for Street Animals, Nest Design for Migration Paths of Birds, Crane Design for Transport Companies, Mystery of Black Holes, QR coded tags for Visually Impaired were conducted. In addition, activities such as Drama-Meet, Creative Thinking Workshop, Survivor-STEM Game and Music Time were conducted to develop general skills.
The project called “Preparing for the Future: Seeking Solutions for Problems” funded by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, was carried out on September 7-14, 2018. 50 students from secondary schools attended the project in the province of Sinop. During the project, students were allowed to participate in various activities in order to reveal cooperative work, computational thinking, decision making, problem solving, design development, innovative thinking, and curiosity. In addition, it is aimed to provide participants with an unforgettable experience throughout their lives and to raise their awareness of disciplines such as science, mathematics, technology and engineering.
